Terms of Service

Effective effective date. We version these terms; the date above changes when they do.

These terms cover your use of hosted Neat (app.neat.is) and this website. The Neat software itself is open source and provided under the license in its repository — these terms are about the managed service we run for you.

The service is early-stage, and provided as-is

Neat is a young product and we ship often. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we can’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Trial, billing, and cancellation

Hosted Neat starts with a 30-day free trial that requires a card upfront. After the trial it bills monthly at the published price (£40, or $55 in regions billed in USD) until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the console; cancel during the trial and you won’t be charged. Confirm this matches the exact trial and billing wording in Stripe and the console.

Support and uptime

Standard plans come with no uptime or support service-level agreement. Enterprise plans can include an SLA and a support channel by separate written contract.

Using the service responsibly

Don’t use Neat to break the law, don’t attack or abuse the service or attempt to disrupt it for others, and only connect code, repositories, and telemetry you have the right to. You’re responsible for the data you bring in; how we handle it is covered by our Privacy Policy.

Changes, suspension, and termination

We may change the service or these terms as the product evolves; material changes update the effective date above. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. You can stop using the service and close your account at any time.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of governing law / jurisdiction — e.g. England & Wales. Questions: contact email.
